I had never tried to do water reflections, because I assumed that pen and ink was not the right medium. Since the water was so still and glass-like, the reflected images showed a lot of detail. When I nearly finished the work, I was not satisfied with its three dimensionality. My son, the engineer, was home from college offered the solution. He suggested that I drop in some blue watercolor in the foreground. Suddenly the water laid down flat and the trees stood up! Thanks son...$
